Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachan Romance

Abhishek Bachan and Aishwarya Rai announced their engagement on 14 January 2007. The couple was married on 20 April 2007, according to traditional Hindu rites of the South Indian Bunt community, to which Rai belongs. Token North Indian and Bengali ceremonies were also performed. The wedding took place in a private ceremony at the Bachchan residence Prateeksha, in Juhu, Mumbai, but was heavily covered by the entertainment media. The couple appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show on Monday, 28 September 2009.

Ash and Salman shooting in neighbouring sets

Film City was abuzz yesterday as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Salman Khan shot in neighbouring sets, wondering if they'd cross paths

It wasn't just another ordinary day at Film City yesterday. Not if you consider that exes Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Salman Khan were shooting in neighbouring sets.

MasterChef India and Akshay have compiled a cookery book that includes the Khiladi's signature sizzlers recipe as well as the show's participants' signature dishes. The book was gifted to Ash as a special gesture exclusively for the Bachchan family.

While Ash was shooting with Akshay Kumar for Star Plus's MasterChef, Sallu was grooving for the

music video shoot of Bigg Boss 4 nearby at around the same time.

The Bigg Boss video is being directed by Milan Luthria (Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai) who has also called the shots for the ongoing Bigg Boss 4 promos. The Dabangg composer duo Sajid-Wajid has composed the music for the video on the star's recommen-dation.

Said a unit hand, "Film City was buzzing with excitement since morning. As soon as word spread that Salman and Aishwarya were expected to shoot, hushed whispers did the rounds about the possibility of the stars crossing paths."

I was just about to go for my bubble bath when a chidiya dropped in claiming to have some khabar from Chennai. Turns out that Shankar, director of the forthcoming Rajnikanth sci-fi Robot is maha-impressed with Aishwarya Rai. Although the beauty queen has worked

on Jeans years ago, it was while working for Robot that he saw the designer side of the actor.

So along with stylist Manish Malhotra, Aish took an active interest in how her character would look in the movie. Chidiya claims to have got it from Shankar himself that Aish gave a lot of valuable inputs for her character’s look and styling.

“Even though we’ve seen her play a modern girl in quite a few films, Aish has taken extra care to ensure that she’s presented in a never-seen-before avatar in Robot,” my chidiya quotes the nirdeshak.
